Hi Mercury

So far, i have not encountered much weird experience as i am pretty new in HK, but heard a number of weird stories from friends.

Have you ever thought that maybe he/she is trying to crack you up by brandishing their english skills :P

I always get people asking me for directions, Theres maybe 20 or so people around me they could ask and they target me of all people, I'm the pale chinese guy thats clearly not a local and they still approach me.

Half the time I can't understand them as I'm not fluent so I either shrug my shoulders and say I don't know or assume they're looking for a nearby landmark and point them to that direction, And when I say point I mean physically point and say its towards there!

Baron is an unknown quantity at this point.
This is pretty weird, i local person told me that they heard a really funny joke the other day, and i asked them to tell it to me. The person then just yelled 'cheeeeezzzzz' in my face and walked off laughing like it was the funniest thing ever? I just stood there wondering what had happened. Have i missed something, or is this the new 'wazuuuup'?

Yep - that's weird Baron! I was out with a mate in Fong (LKF) last Tuesday and this guy sat at the bar gets up and starts break-dancing in the middle of the bar floor - and I mean spinning on his back, hands - the whole works. The place is half empty so everyone is staring at him. I've got to assume he is employed there as 'entertainment' but that's my most 'weird' experience so far!

Laughing_Monkey will become famous soon enough
I saw one of those little old ladies (the ones you see pushing the old fashioned trolley things about aimlessly) sleeping on her trolley in the middle of a really busy patch of pavement today. That was strange.
