Take a look at Aluminium (central, wan chai and cwb). Also City Super in CWB has great stuff and I think the one at Harbour City is similar (not in the actual supermarket just next door). Also MUJI in CWB has great office stuff.

G.O.D. gets my call too. OVO is similar and has a good size store over 2 floors (at the beginning of Queens Road East (Pacific Place end) on the left if you're walking down towards Wan Chai).

If you are looking for retro / vintage stuff / ebay stuff, there is one in soho (peel street called chen mei ji ) that has a good colection. If expensive designers' stuff, there are some up St Francis street in Wanchai (around 3-4) that sells expensive stuff, like $50000 per dinner table. Aluminum is also a must viisit. Tint Living at Causeway Bay also has a colection of Vitra chair. If you are looking for replicas, there is a shop at Lockhart Road that duplicates the design from china.

Claire, the trade fairs are an awesome place to find more junk.... many of the vendors at the fairs sell their stuff rather than take it back home.

Also, there are tons of christmas fairs going on. Lots of people selling interesting widgets.

http://www.geoexpat.com/option,com_e...ar/Itemid,207/ has some fairs listed.
