help all you clever people.
Don't know about switching your Xbox to PAL (or even if you can), but the colour/b&w issue is probably because there are two slightly different NTSC versions - one as used in Japan, one in the US. I'd guess the one TV supports the Jap standard, while the others are US NTSC only. I seem to remember a b&w picture is common if you get them mis-matched.

Just buy a RGB Scart Lead for the Xbox360. Will solve all your problems.
Incidentally, where did u buy your xbox360 from? And how much did it cost?

cb1118 will become famous soon enoughcb1118 will become famous soon enough
the best output is by VGA cable
(and use a HD-TV LCD)

**best choice (for the money) is VIEWSONIC (you can find it in Winsor House, Causeway Bay)

talking about HK$9XXX for 32 inch Widescreen LCD (running at 8ms respond rate)

People who bought the japanese version of the 360, can you play on xbox LIVE in Hong Kong? Did you get a 1 month free trial of LIVE?

Just wondering.

I'm waiting for the Hong Kong release on March 16th and would really like them to include the 1 month free trial of LIVE like they do in the UK. I have no idea how many Hong Kong people play on LIVE.

Yeah, I'd be interested too in how to play online with the 360 - whether it's free or need to sign up with something etc.

Xbox LIVE is not Free. I have never subscribed so don't know the actual cost. For the old xbox I think the headset and LIVE starter kit was on sale for about 388HKD but I don't know if that means you have paid for a year of the LIVE service.

Xlink Kai is free but I have heard the 360 requires very low pings in system link that you would litterally only be able to play with people in your neighbourhood.
