i disagree.... if you get one of the cheap crappy mod chips, then yes it will most likely be outdated after 6 months to 1 year as game developers update their blocking power however if you get a mod chip such as DMS 4 Pro for PS2, it is basically a new OS for the PS2, which allows for future updates and upgrades and whatnot... BUT....i do agree that you must get it properly and professionally installed. If not, the results will vary. |

| If you don't mind paying $400 more than US retail, you can get a system from yesasia: http://global.yesasia.com/en/PrdDept...section-games/ |

| you may also go to this web site http://www.buygame2.com you can order Japan version from here! (go to home page to see the product detail) **note: most XBOX games now have multi-language menu...and gameplay... so if you can't wait for HK version, or you think the USA version is too expensive...(and also hard to get games) try to order from buygame2. **for USA version XBOX 360, you may order from http://www.cduniverse.com (but I know that the shortage of XBOX 360 has caused cduniverse.com not able to get any inventory so far) |

| it's true, there is an "overheat" trouble with some of the XBOX 360s. cause of overheating (1)powersupply unit *damn thing is huge! (2)the heatsink covering the CPU or the GPU (ATi) actually may come lose due to transportation process, thus it's not doing its job.. (3)production defect on area of heatsink surface to chips.. (4)users place the XBOX 360 in an area that lacks ventilation.... anyway, I am ordering my Japan unit (arriving 12/12) |
