Indian spices - kinda depends how u wana do it...local supermarkets eg. city super etc carry V.small pots of tumeric, jerra(I think), chilli powder etc etc...oh also do ginger & garlic pastes(if thats what you use ) If you want to bulk buy then I guess ppl would reccomend Tst again.. Otherwise on this side of Hk, theres a small shop behind times Sq and one outside Bowington Rd Market..

Love Thai, will check it out. The foodcourt downstairs isnt bad actually, its the main food court in Pacific Place shopping mall (dont know what its called). They do some great fiery curries. Also a nice Thai I have been to is in central called Lemongrass which does just the staple thai dishes, but does them fabulously.

Hey Nutta, I think there is a really good restaurant called Sangeet. Although I don't know if my experience really counts, cuz I'm not english or indian but love curry. Although I did try a balti once.

I haven't found anywhere that will rent exotics for the day here in HK.

The only thing close that I have found is a few of the limo companies having Mercedes S classes that you can rent for the day (they come with drivers, but I'm sure if you told the driver that you wanted to drive and tipped him well, it wouldn't be a problem). Of course a S is a nice car, but it really isn't something that is fast or anything

Man, I totally miss my car...

No can do. Huge insurance problems... their whole fleet's insurance could be dropped if they let unnamed third parties drive the car.

It's been so long since i last drove that i'm worried i've lost my nerve! I had to sell my 2 cars when i moved here, and i miss them like hell. They were both collectors, but it was too much to store for 2 or 3 years, plus keep them running. As soon as i get back though, i know what i want and what i'll get, so its something to look forward to.

The Mustang Mach1. I would add a pic but there doesn't seem to be an 'upload pic' anymore.
