Are there any airlines flying directly (ie not via BKK) from HKG to Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, or any other city in the Northern Thailand? thanks

i was looking for a direct flight as you and every travel agent told me that it's not possible....only with one stop over...

Bangkok Airways flies direct from HK to Koh Samui...not exactly northern, but its direct.

qoidnef, I found out, it is not possible, am flying via BKK. Good news is, there is a lot of flights btw HKG and BKK, and lots of flights BKK to Chiang Mai, you can mix and match

yes it's just Hong Kong Express, if the schedules don't suit you then Thai will book you on a thru connection via BKK, though of course it takes a lot longer, the non stop HKG to Chiang Mai takes about 2 hrs 50 mins.
