PP? Sounds like Parkside - those are great digs. I second the house warming notion. Promise to bring goodies...

Why get serviced apartments when you can just hire a maid that can visit your place 3x a week to do your laundry and clean your place up? That'll save you tons! 25k a month?? Wow... that'll be mansion compared to where us regular people live.

Looking for serviced or rented aparments!!

Help - not sure what to do!
We are currently in a very serviced apartment in Quarry Bay. As we have just arrived in Hk we are quite enjoying living in a serviced apartment.
However we need to get a bigger place either serviced or rented not sure at the moment. Our budget is $24,000 per calender month.
Does anyone know of any nice serviced apartments or anyone who is looking to pass over the rental apartment if they are moving. Would like to be near Central?
Any help or advise would be much appreciated

I am in a serviced aptm. now and I can't wait to leave!
Vicenta, which company is this? Is it including village house? Does Gloria work only on HK island properties or does she covers Kowloon and NT too?

Ah ! Here is a good place to chat about HK…
I left HK many years ago. For the last 10 years I have been going back every other year for vacation and I stayed in hotels which can be quite expensive for a duration of 2-3 weeks. Last time I went back, my cousin told me about the serviced apartment and I only knew about how I work in bits and pieces. He told me it runs between $6k-8k HK a month depending on location. I am considering trying it out on my next visit. Anyone knows if these serviced apart. Can be rented by weeks ?

Letxyz, I know a lot of them... but I'm affraid to recommend any... something bad might happen and you'll end up suing me! hahah!

But if you're that desperate... maybe I can ask a few people...

Lightbulb

My cousin owns a real estate and remodeling company in Happy Valley on the HK side. In fact, last time I went back she had 2 furnished apartments that remained vacant for 3 months and she asked me to cancel my hotel reservation and move it one of them. It’s a really nice neighborhood where supposedly many celebrities and movie stars make it there home. If you are interested, I will give you her info.

Cool, can I have the details too? But I do have extremely tight budget. HK$ 8k and below. Please advise. Cheers!
