We just renewed our car insurance with AA. Plus if you've got an older car its worth becoming a member. They change tyres for free and tow.
We've used their 24 hour hotline in emergencies and they've arrived withn 30-45 mins.

Kwiksure may be good -- but I have labeled them as cowboys. They told a relative of ours to "not worry .. just ignore it" when asked about previous accidents / court cases in the policy application.

I'm sure that application would have not stood up if there was an accident and the insurance company did any due diligence.

I didn't realise the HKAA were insurance brokers. True they offer a good service and I would not hessitate to use them if my car was a lot older but I found their insurance prices way too high.
I've bought through Kwiksure for the last four years after having solicited quotations from other sources.

Actually, HKAA say they'll beat any quote you receive from other brokers. I told them what my renewal price was from my current broker and they did!

If this is true it means Kwiksure are helping people get insurance under false pretenses. If there is a claim the insurance company will almost certainly check before paying out and then will discover the truth. The insurance will be invalid (Possibly the driver could be charged with driving without insurance). The claim will not be paid and you could end up not just losing your own car but also paying for other vehicles and even massive hospital bills.

I have been using Navigator Insurance Brokers for many years and trust them completely to look after my interests. Their telephone number is (852) 2530 2530. They get a good deal for you from the insurance companies and they take a lot of trouble to ensure you get what you pay for.

You need insurance to give you peace of mind. If there is a high chance the insurance company wont pay a claim you may be paying a low premium but it could cost you everything in case of an accident.
