Buying a desk

I want to buy a reasonably priced desk and armchair for home. Wasted two hours in Ikea picking something out and lining up, only to find that everything I liked was indefinitely out of stock or only available in a hideous colour. Don't need anything fancy--rectangular table top, sturdy, enough leg room, drawers or shelving above the desk, etc. Where should I go to find what I need?

You can try along King's Road between Tin Hau and Fortress Hill MTR stations. There are a number of office furniture shops to choose from.

Anyone know where i can find an adjustable table?
Preferably one with electric engine adjustment. and a tiltable work area not nessisary though, as long as it can be adjusted to allow working in a standing position.
I been looking around for something like this for ages..and so far all i found was a desc for growing kids that would extend from my knees to my waist and well that just dont cut it.
Any help is much apreciated.

You could try Mong Kok Computer Centre. One of the three floors has a shop that does computer tables and I remember one that had a large catalogue. The shop is next the stairs.
