Unfortunately unless you can find one second hand or want to buy one off the internet and have it sent here you may be fresh out of luck. I did some looking then posted a similar request only to receive lots of replies saying despite being made in China you can't buy one here. I had to get my parents to bring me one when they visited.

Went to Shek O today and the shops there have all manner of inflatable lilos etc. Single and double size and some looked substantial enough to sleep on. Did see one proper airbed but I think you could only rent not buy it. Best option I've seen on HK so far.

Does anyone know why inflatable mattresses / airbeds are not available in Hong Kong? I mean, this city with its small apartments and tendency of extended family visiting for events like Lunar New Year would be the perfect market, I think.

I've just given up my own search and will probably have to go for a folding bed, which takes up much more storage space; I'm just not willing to pay exorbitant shipping to have a product 'made in China' delivered from web merchants in the United States.

Watsons have these with an electric pump to inflate (cost about $200)
reasonable to sleep on but not long term!

I had a raised air bed in New York. It was sooo comfortable. Slept in it every night, too. I had one of the cheaper ones that I used to inflate with a foot pump. Me and my ex popped it one morning.... :P

if u need a bed for a temporary time, you can rent from a place called home essentials..not bad pricing considering...should have the details if needed.
