Something funny I found out today.

The night that Prince plays at the Harbour Fest, the Goethe Institute opens their Max 2003 Film Festival. And the band playing at their opening gala?

Die Prinzen!
(The Princes in German)

See details here:

Coincidence?

That's possibly the dodgiest line-up ever? Squiggle-man, Crraaaaaaaig Daaaaavid, and one of the three tenors.

My girlfriend is looking forward to Westlife though. And it might be fun to throw rocks at Craig David.

Didn't the papers feature reports that vested interests were trying their best to sabotage competing events?

Rockit Lineup

Can't see how anyone can compare Rockit to the over-priced geriatrics that Harbor Fest is bringing over. Supergrass alone is worth the $120 ticket price.

From the website it looks like Rockit has a great line up over the two days, Oct 25 & 26 ...

Supergrass (UK)
Spanish Harlem Orchestra (US)
Six By Seven (UK)
Goldrush & Mark Gardener (UK)
Leslie Loh (UK)
Electric Eel Shock (Japan)
Regurgitator (Aust.)
DJ Suv (UK)
DJ Marky & XRS (Brazil)
Stamina MC (UK)
Rinôçérôse (France)
Audiotraffic (HK)
Uncle Joe (HK)
Robot Live! (HK)
DJ Bodhi (HK)
Simon Pang - DJ (HK)

Then on the Sunday there is a Salsa party with the Spanish Harlem Orchestra.

There's more info on http://www.rockit-hk.com.

I'll be going for sure - what a blast. Big Day Out comes to Hong Kong in effect.
