Canuck, why are you being sent back there to live with them? For school or vacation? I'm going back in Dec and have no clue where to stay for a good amount of time. At least you have a place to stay! congratS! Buddy

Have you ever lived here or is this totally new to you? Depends on what you want, your age and intersts I imagine. Tsuen Wan is at one end of the MTR so at least you can get anywhere. There are surprising activities in unexpected places (saw a very avant guard dance theatre piece only three or four MTR stops from there---totally unexpected. I pernsoally live on Kowloon side, may be moving to HK side...actually love where I am (Prince Edward) and I do not ascribe to the HK= better than theory. Very different worlds, however--just depends what you seek. You will likely find more expat life on island side and in the Tsin Sha Tsuio to Prince Edward areas. Good luck in relocating!

Ai ya Good luck, Tsuen Wan is far away from everything - it's just 1hour away from Central! How old are you? You sound a little freaked about moving in with your grandparents - I'd like to like at my grands...

Hey!! There are things to do everywhere in HK. I work in Tsuen Wan & i must admit is further away from what is happening in Kowloon & Hk island. But u can get out quickly by MTR or mini bus, very convenience. Tsuen Wan is very very local,so it'll help if u can speak a bit of Cantonese or Mandarin. In geneal, not a bad place at all.
