Hi all,

Anyone know of some good travel agents/and or HK websites where I can find "cheap" or "discount" airfare? I would think, in general, the destination wouldn't matter so much, especially since I think right now it's probably low season for pretty much everywhere.

But, in this case, I'm looking for cheap tickets to Osaka (or Nagoya) for either the last or 2nd to last weekend of this month.

I've checked aerohkg.com (Sheung Wan) and tiglion.com (Wan Chai). Only the latter allows you to actually book online. Seems both offer reasonable fares. I also know of a place called Pioneer Travel in Wan Chai, but I believe they use the same fare-finding software that Tiglion uses. Lastly, I know there is Wing-On and Hong Tai, although I've heard these are generally more expensive.

My old, trusty, dependable expedia.com is just way too expensive for ticket shopping outside of the US.

Any other suggestions?

I recently organised flights and package details in Asia on the following and they were pretty good:

www.4thetravel.com

Flightcenter were a bit slow on organising the booking, but it was cheap so I was happy to deal with it.

Keep an eye on www.cathaypacific.com too, they do some really good specials but you have to check back often to find them!

I have been using www.zuji.com.hk. I don't know how they compare to other sites on price but I have been booking both fixed price and deals price tickets with them and am very happy with the service and the site design - it is easy to use.

they also have an office in HKG if you don't feel like booking 100% online.

i'd appreciate a tip on how to use this site. it is probably only my stupidity but i cannot get any suggested flight timetable when i do search on a particular flight (date, origin and destination entered).

the site gives me all prices on all airlines and details of the fare (validity etc) but i don't see times of departure and arrival, only dates of the flight. no use to me!! when i select on of the suggested fares, the last window suggests to buy ('checkout') but i want to see the timetable first. any ideas?
