I think I know the answer to this one already but in case I am mistaken, I will ask.
Is there any legal recognition of gay partners in HK? Any possibility of getting spousal visa rights for a same-sex partner? | |

The only way out may be if you have a marraige cert from another country that does. Would be a test case, I'd think. | |

| | | Terribly shortminded of them isn't it. Even if your partner doesn't even want to come for work (i.e. just come to shop) he's not allowed to stay longer than the usual tourist visa. (which is 180 days if you are UK, but only guessing) | |

At the end of the day, westerners are a bit pampered. The standard South Asian visas for people like my parents are @ 2 weeks.

But it's true - the average man in Africa earns less than the average man in England, and as immigration laws are based on national averages, they take that into account.
And if you're asking my income (my personal income is low as I've just started working, but my family income is high, and I'm usually the family charity case), then it's probably quite high, for a 20 year old at least. | |
