I'd recommend using http://mobisms.com/ or http://smsbug.com/ About 3 cents Euro per SMS, from/to anywhere in the world.

Is there anyone using Voip with an ATA like Sipura SPA-3000 for receiving a making a call routed via Voip carrier?
I have that box and an Italian Voip service. I call my home number in HK and I got the dial tone of the Voip line. Then I enter the number I need and call is routed via Voip. The same when I receive calls on my Voip number. The call is routed via my PSTN line.
In this way you can choose the best deal for calling HKG numbers with mobile and use Voip rates for IDD.
My only problem is to know if UDP port 5060 is blocked in HK, cause my Voip provider is working on port 5061, but the best deals are with providers working with port 5060.

Anyone expert in this field?

3 cents = HK$0.30
Using 3, whilst in Europe SMSing HK was costing me HK$0.20

Pick one or more:
Problems with the physical cables to the exchange,
ISPs modem
Your router,
Your isp IP network is congested.
Your isp physical/logical network maybe congested
Your connect through USB to your Router/WIFI/ethernet.
Your anti-virus or other spy ware maybe killing it
Your PC lacks ram.

Or maybe you have such a fat pipe on your phone that your PC would never be able to match it even if it has a OC192.
