| | | Just arrived Hi,
I arrived on Sunday and started work on Monday so it's been a busy week for me. I need to find a place to rent (in a serv apt for a month) and was thinking of Happy Valley. I do not know anyone in HK so would love to hear from anyone who could recommend a agent for me that would help with the search.
Thanks | |

| | | Thats the first I've ever heard of Jordan being a good clean spot. Maybe have a look between the hours of 12-3am to get a feel for the 'other' Jordan before u commit to moving there? | |

| | | Hi there..welcome to HKG!!
I live in Happy Valley and I would highly reccommend it as well, it's like a little village with everything you need within easy reach. There are buses and trams there, and the MTR is not that far (just tram it to Causeway Bay if you have to).
As for apartments, I have seen many ads in the free HK Magazine (available on Fridays), see flat finder section, for good prices, or else you could register with an estate agent in Happy Valley, but there are extra costs when using estate agents. Usually they can show you quite a few in one go, so you could be lucky to find something straight away.
Hope this helps!

| | | Thanks for all your help
I am working in causeway Bay so I think Happy Valley would be close for me. Im guessing Central is expensive. | |

| | | It is pretty easy to get to CB on the tram from HV. It should take you about 10 minutes. Board the one labeled "Shaukewan" (sp?). | | Tools | Search | | | | | Rate This Thread | | | All times are GMT +8. The time now is 08:35 AM. | |
