Hi,

Planning to visit HK around end of Nov 2005 for about 3 week. Need advise on accommodation for 2 adults and 4 kids, I have checked with some hotels but they all said I need 2 rooms. We prefer to stay together in one room. Found one service apartment called Olympic Terrace near Shum Shui Po (west Kolwoon) but friend said it is not good for family too far away from MTR. I want to find a place near Mongkok or Jordan or somewhere thats not too expensive and near a MTR station. Any help would be appreciated.

You are pretty much going to be told that you need two rooms pretty much anywhere you stay because most hotels only allow 4 people max in one room.

Really, the only way around it is to not tell them that there are 6 of you, but only 3 or 4 and book one room. Just when you check in, don't let the reception see all of the kids with you - have one of you check in and the other one stay with the kids in an out of the way place until everything is taken care of. Kind of dishonest, but really the only way around it.
