Question chinese visa

hi
we have been quoted $280 for our travel agent to organise a single entry visa. i have a New Zealand passport.
is this a good deal, or should i organise this myself? can anyone recommend where - i work in tsing yi and live in central.

The Chinese immigration office is in Wan Chai in the China Resources Building.

I dropped my passport off on Friday and it is going to take 3 days to get it back.

I have an American passport so they charge more but it was 590 for 2 trips.
