DVD Region Codes I often watch DVDs on my laptop computer and sometimes get prompted that I need to change the region setting and only have X number of changes left. I'm now apparently down to my last change and want to revert to the whichever setting will allow me to maximize my DVD viewing options here. Which should it be?

You need Region 3 to be able to watch DVDs manufactured for Hong Kong.

VLC! VLC! VLC! Don't know what it is? Do a google. I think that might solve your problems. Just make sure your settings are that when you insert a DVD it boots up VLC instead of DVD Player or whatever your default player is.
