BBQ - Finger lickin good!

SG_Girl gave me a brilliant idea. She suggested a little gathering over some BBQ. Back in NY my friends and I use to barbeque in the backyard. HK is another story! Any bbq location suggestions? Anyone interested in a little gathering? I would host a bbq at my place but i can only hold 5-7 people max...let me know what ya'll think.

I am native Chinese new to here, can I join your BBQ party? I always love to have BBQ food. corn, sweet potato ................This gives me a high school cooking lesson feel, but most of my friends hate BBQ. They all prefer everything is ready and served in restaurant.

Baron is an unknown quantity at this point.
A few of us had thought of doing this a while back, but it could get messy unless people bring fair amounts of food. You would need to organize who brings what (meat, salad etc...), and then who cooks.

Would you trust strangers cooking/touching/making your food?

Sorry to put a bit of a downer on it!

HK has loads of outdoor barbeque sites in the Country Parks, some of them in great locations, and they hardly ever seem to be used. Why not combine the BBQ with a trip to the country and use one of these?

Details of the sites (including some which have electric bbqs - which need advance reservation) are here:

I know u can have eat as much as u can BBQ in some places too. In that case, all we have to bring is ourselves.
I will look it up the location if people are interested, they will charge us per head but its quite cheap(under $100(drinks excluded))
