Star World TV to NOW broadband (not an ad)
Saw commercial that StarWorld TV will be exclusive to NOW Broadband, does that mean the current StarWorld TV channel I get today from the apartment antenna will be unavailable ?

I signed up to now broadband not realising that within weeks they would get all sorts of new channels that of course my current subscription doesn't include and then I saw Star World was moving over so I emailed them last night to find out if I can add these new ones to my package - I will post the outcome when I hear back from them

You will find that yes you can add but the most economical price would mean signing up for 12 months.

Baron is an unknown quantity at this point.
Star world wont be exclusive to Now until middle of next year, so no need to worry just yet.

You will find when you get it installed that you can sign up immediately to any channel through your TV.

I got a note from our building that they will not be able to give us Star World from Feb 2006.

I suppose that is when NOW has it exclusively from.

All it's going to take is for NOW to get the Premiership Soccer and iCable is dead.

Easier to call them than to subscribe through the built in interface. In a typically HK fashion, none of the special deals are available through the console.. and you definately cannot negotiate with the set-top box.
