income level? think i get paid too low

I moved to HK half a year ago and without hassle got my working permit to work in a local larger architecture company as the only foreigner. I have 4 years working experience, a Bachelor and Master degree in architecture.
In my contract I signed a note that does not allow me to talk about the salary with any other staff member, and because it is a Chinese company and I am the only Caucasian no one would tell me what is the average income level for my profession. Looking at my Expat friends in other professions it seems I totally underpaid, taking into consideration they also have much more holidays, but also looking at some work colleagues driving big cars.
I am concerned I might get ripped off, so I decided to post this thread. Anyone could give me an indication?

Talk to a head hunter in your area ... and check out what people offer you. (Don't take the headhunter too seriously.. they'll often promise you the world to just get you to go to an interview and say yes.)

The only way to test your real worth is to go for an interview or two.

If you're a starving ethiopian (is that even a correct stereotype to use these days?) yes it is.
