How is it like to live in Tuen Mun. How long/how much/how frequent for transportation from Tuen Mun to Admiralty?

Well i Live in Yuen long (4 stations away from Tuen Mun)
And it takes me about 40min to go there using either bus or KCR/MTR.
The cost for bus is cheap 13.5HKD and KCR/MTR is about 22HKD.
You can add about 20min to the time table from Tuen Mun and 4HKD for fees on the KCR/MTR.
Buses uses fixed rates so it will also be 13.5HKD.

| | | There is also Citybus 962B and 962X to Admiralty (approx 40 mins) for 18.20 one way. Very frequent in the morning and evening, also overnight. Comforatble ride with few stops (takes the expressway). Tuen Mun is not too bad, though noticably more ethnic Chinese than Hong Kong Island (I think thats a good thing), much cheaper housing, big mall (Town Centre), easy access to the airport by ferry/bus combo. Some okay beaches too. Gold Coast nearby is an expat area. | |
