Hi

I know its a little early but I am trying to plan my christmas new year trips. I am coming to Hong Kong just before Xmas and was wondering if there is some Christmas Dinner event or something going on. I am an Aussie living in Japan and wouldnt mind hanging out with some people, not necessarily Aussies but - you know Christmas alone is not a nice prospect.

Any ideas?

Christmas in HK is great - there will be lots to do so dont worry. New Year (1 Jan) is not really celebrated that much out here - HK follows the Chinese New Year which is end of Jan. Anyway, dont worry - you will have plenty to do

i will probably be in nepal on nov/dec but will be back for christmas and new year in hong kong...a bit too early to plan but there will be an event happening then..stay tuned!!

Ok, great, I will stay tuned. Does anyone in this forum dance Argentinian Tango??? Nepal should be great, have you seen Tibet yet? I was there last month.

nah..haven't been to tibet..been to india though..nepal's got a large community of tibetans so i get to see their culture in nepal itself but yes, would still love to visit tibet..too many traveling plans at the mo...

Christmas in Hong Kong is fantastic. Wonder what will be at Statue Square this year? Last year a train came out of a shack and travelled round with some music playing. Pretty cool stuff.
