Anything to do in Disco Bay????

I've just moved to Disco Bay alone, and just wondering if I've doomed myself to early evenings and listening to screaming kids on the morning ferry.... ?

Unless you're into getting wasted in the plaza with the rest of the xpats....

Actually, the Res. Club is pretty nice, you can go to the driving range at the golf course weekday evenings i believe....other than that....

Are you single? If so, what possessed you to move to Wally World anyway? There are tons of threads here warning against such a move! lol

yes, I moved here as a single person against all warnings. I didn't have much time to look for a flat once I arrived and was only being shown tiny old apartments in the city. Does anyone know... is the Siena Club the same thing as the Residents Club? Do they ever run specials on monthly fees, can you bargain with the clubs? Seems quite expensive with the deposit, joining fee, seperate fee for gym use.... geez.

Ha! Oh, I remember... DB seemed nice and peaceful compared to the crowded city. No one mentioned there would be tons of crazy children running around and screaming....

NO negotiating at the club... but yes, you can use both clubs with the one membership...
if you didn't know about the kids in Db, you weren't very well informed...
if you don't like dogs or kids, you'll HATE DB....

personally, after living in the city for 6 years, i moved to Db with my hubby, he grew up in the midst of everything in sham shui po, and we love it here(although we are considering moving to sai kung next year...only so we can afford a garden)
