language exchange with native Japanese

Hello I am a native Japanese speaking lady living in HK for a couple of years.
Anyone who wants to improve oral skill of Japanese, shall we do language exchange with casual situation? (over a cup of coffee or drinks)
I am fluent in English so it would be great to chat with people from English speaking countries.
I also interested in Italian, Spanish, and French.

Hi,

I am interested in learning japanese. I know some very basic japanese but I think it is not enough to have a real conversation with a japanese. ^-^ I could help you in cantonese anyway.

Thank you for your reply Vivien,
Actually I already gave up learning Cantonese...
Yes I really enjoyed learning Cantonese when I was studying for rhe first time, but the tone is very difficult for me.
Do you speak Latin languages? I am keen on learning those.

hajime mashite watashi wa ka-ming desu, dozo yoroshiku!!

I studied a module in japanese when i was in university, but it's been a few years since then, and i think my level is very basic. But i would love to pick up and practice it again!

as for other languages i studied French for A-levels, but i'm afraid i've given all my knowledge back to the teacher!

I love learning languages, just too bad that i'm not very good at retaining information ne?

I have a lot of experience teaching Japanese people English...recent experience, too. I'd love to have a chat and learn some Japanese, I know the very basics and the food, though I speak Spanish and German too, but I'm not a Native speaker at those. Would love to learn some Cantonese, too....

Hi Nene,

I'd love to pick up more Japanese & learn it properly (have taken classes before but have forgotten most & what little i have now is very slack verbal Japanese.

I'm fluent in english & cantonese, but not latin languages though. Would still love to meet up & just hang out (i hate the idea of actually sitting down somewhere regularly every week to "exchange" - too class like for me). PM me if u're keen~!

Hi all,
Thank you for your reply!
Wow I didnt expect so many people are interested in doing exchange with Japanese... But I must say that Japanese is interesting language : )
Sounds like you all are from everywhere! I am quite interested in where you guys exactly are from though.
I dont know how to reply, so I will write down for each...

Well, keto1-san,
I love learning English so I am still taking some English courses here. I used to live in North America...but just for a year.

Keroppi-san,
I guess you will remember some Japanese once you started studying it again... it must be better than my German which I used to study in my Uni!!

Jayinhongkong-san,
Are you used to be an English teacher? You sound like you are from English speaking countries. I love to learn Spanish, but I know next to nothing about it!

hei811-san,
Yes it is a good idea to hang out... LKF or somewhere? LOL which I love!!

If you guys have any idea in concrete to do language exchange, please let me know! Either reply to this thread or to me.
