Importing goods in to hong kong

Hi - am thinking of buying a small shop in hong kong (wont say where just yet!) and it imports from mainly thailand but i am thinking morocco and spain etc...

Have searched high and low but can't find anything that will give me the rules and regs for what you can and can't import, do you need a licence, etc etc.. wont be sending over containers worth - just small amounts using dhl or the likes.. can anyone help me at all?

Thanks
also - if anyone knows of any awesome wholesalers in middle eastern areas please let me know!
ciao

Most of the countries have chambers of commerce here in Hong Kong. I'd start by emailing / calling them.
