My wife is back to Hong Kong for career 2. I am planning to move back as well next year. However, I have a lot of technolgy equipments (~15 items of Cisco equipments) which I use them for study and personal use (It is not used for commerical). I would like to take them with me. Is it illegal exported them from US to Hong Kong? I know US gov put some restriction to export certain type of technology outside of US.

Does anyone know how US and HK customs for export and import technology type of equipment from US. Any place I can get information? Thanks!
