Mobilephones-Prices?? Pls
Hey!

I'm in Australia now but going to Hon Kong in the end of the week and I want to buy a mobile phone. Anyone who knows where to go and how much I would need to pay for a Motorola V3 Razr or a Nokia 8800. The listed price and the price I can get with some bargain!

Please give me a clue so I now what kind of budget I need.

Ok thanks, you guys know how much you can bargain on mobile phone and where can i do that, what neighbourhood?

Is it possible to get a Motorola V3 for $1200-1500?

A Motorola V3 for THAT much, you've got to be joking.....

Expect to pay around HK$2.5K for that model here.....retail....

If you are intending to take it away and not bothered about a warranty then you can get it cheaper.

OK....thanks.......I have no Idea but if it is $2500 I can get it in Australia instead, not much difference in price
I thought Hong Kong was a paradise for cheap electronics

I was recently leaving London and Vodafone Duty Free-side was selling the Razr for GBP199.

HK is not really a paradise for mobile phones, you can only get a cheaper price if you sign a "special offer" service plan contract with the provider. And the really "special offers" are not normally put in the website, you probably need a local to bring you to the retail shop as highly likely the 'sales reps' speak broken english or they can't even explain the service plan clearly in cantonese
