Greeks and Italiens are very similar, and they tend to get along quite well, at least in Europe. Ragarding Turks, things are changing in Greece, where people really want to get rid of the old conflict with Turkey. It's more at the political level that things remain strained.

Maybe, as you said, Greeks in Melbourne haven't evolved much since the 60s, and tensions may thus be more obvious than they are in Europe.

Thats it Xav, the Aussie Greeks, Italians and Turks are still fighting the wars they were when they moved OS. The newer generations couldn't care less.

that would be fun but i dont think that many people like the dressing-up (fancy dresses) parties..remember that you/prashanthbk tried to get together people for a fancy dress party and not many were up for it...boring innit...!!

school uniform is my favourite one..maybe i should hire out a club and do "school disco" like the one back in london...
