Hi all,

I noticed quite a few posts mention serviced apartments as an option. I tried clicking on a few links here on this website, but they all involve emailing an agent.

I just want to know some sort of ballpark figure for a single person living in a serviced apartment.

eg- do they charge per day/week/month?

Is it cheaper than a hotel?

How much?

I'm in Hanlun Habitats in Mid-levels (well, I'm in Sri Lanka right now, but most of my stuff is there ) who charge by the month, rates from $18000 to $33000, depending on the apartment size/shape, the building, and the floor you're on - my place is very much towards, though not quite at, the bottom of that range.
It's worth noting, depending on what you want and where/when you want it, that you may find problems with availability...

I have been doing some general research and most places charge per month. The cheapest I found is HK$5,500 per month and the most expensive is $$$$$

Oddly enough, some of those upper prices are similar to the YMCA Salisbury, which is at Tsim Sha Siu next to the harbour, a prime location.
