Cool Any hard rock bar ?
Hi guys!,
i'll be hittin good ol HK for the first time in sep last. would really like to know if there are any hard rock bars there..(metallica, pink floyd etc) would be cool to rock with you dudes!

I don't know any that specialise in hard rock, but the band at Sticky Fingers in TST East (just along from the Kowloon Shangri-La) played some Floyd & Hendrix the other night, along with lighter stuff to a much older crowd than you get in LKF.

am gettin scared now...someone better tell me there is a place i can rock on! thanks PDLM for the info! maybe if there's nothin else i can hit sticky fingers....but really i'm lookin fr a place i can do a lotta air guitar! yeah!!!

Where exactly is this place. I was told that it was opposite the Kln Shangri La. All I found was a hair loss clinic opposite the Shang.

Not opposite - it's on the same side of the street, slightly to the east. The official address is TST Centre, but it's not inside the centre: it's at street level with a big frontage directly onto Mody Road, more or less opposite the Royal Garden Hotel.

If you can't find it then go to the concierge desk in the lobby of the Shang and ask them for directions!

Seriously, good question.

What happened to 48th St Chicago Blues in TST? Besides blues, bands would jam rock. hard (Led Zep style) but perhaps not the subsequent heavy metal (Metallica and goth stuff).

now thats what i'm talkin about!!!! man these guys are cool! lets rock on! although i think i'll hit thier show on 1st oct. any other places? keep 'em comin people!
