South Indian Food in TST

I love South Indian food like Dosa's, Idlis, Shev Puri etc. I usually eat at Woodlands in TST but I have heard that there are other S Indian restaurants in the TST Area.

Could any of our Indian members be kind enough to recommend some.

Thanks
Jared

Shev Puri is Bombay fast food. South Indians are known to throw raging fits if you call that authentic.

I tend to like Brantos .. a bit expensive, but does have good bombay fast food.

I will head there tomorrow.

I love the Bombay Snacks especially the stuff at Chowpaty Beachfront
Also the Parsee Dairy at Marine Lines and most of all a steaming hot wada pau at Churchgate station.

I used to travel to Mumbai a lot last year and loved it.

Ah yes the South Indian Mess on the 3rd floor of Block D.
The reason I can be so precise is that every time this year I have been there there is a last minute change to go to the Everest Club next door[who hand out VIP cards like confetti]
The reason for the charge to Everest is that it looks so much more inviting than the Mess which has harsh white tublelights.
My favorite after plain dosa and tomato uttapam is the fried fish.
Yum!

Second that one about Nirvanam - near our office at Kamiyacho. Good lunch buffet. Luckily it reopened after renovation just before the end of my stay there last year so I could introduce my HKer colleague based there to it.

Back in HK, Conrad make good dosa, incl masala dosa, right on the spot at their lunchtime buffet at Lobby Bar.

Yep the Conrad Curry Buffet is a favourite of mine but you need to save up for it.
