Blackberry tested

finally got my Blackberry (but still keeps my Sony Ericsson P910i)
the email services are excellent!! (I use the model 7290)
but gets the following troubles;

(1)for attachment files like Word, Excel, and JPG, PDF
all are ok, except Excel (.xls files)
if the number value is 0.0123 or anything less than zero....it will only show as "0" (very bad if you want to read a price quotation)
**I have no idea how to override this..

(2)ok...even with the desktop manager program, Blackberry is not exactly like a PDA...
thus, if you get email with attachment like Word, Excel, JPG, PDF
you cannot save the files in an independent folder so that you may access the information later.

my suggestion is wait for the latest "O2" (with blackberry function built-in)
**O2 is a PDA phone.!!

good news, Australia just released the latest
Sony Ericsson P910i Blackberry Version

hopefully, this new BB version will be introduced to Hong Kong market, so I don't need to carry 2 phones. (and the MS office files will work great)

Surely this is configurable through the viewing options. I don't subscribe to the BB service so can't try for you.
Incidentally, which BB plan did you join and what made you choose them?
