| |  WANTED - Part-time Domestic Helper
Only to those who can legally work part-time in Hong Kong
I am looking for a reliable part-time domestic helper to work 6 hours (only 1 day per week during Mon-Fri) at my Midlevels apartment. You must have training in this area. Pay HK$50/hour plus HK$20/day transportation subsidy, insurance provided. | |

| | | Thanks. It is not illegal to hire part-time domestic helpers as long as they are Hong Kong Permanent Residents. It is only illegal if you hire someone who enters Hong Kong with a work visa carrying such restriction.

I am new to this website. Just moved to HK and looking for part-time domestic helper as well.
Elly, is your hourly rate the going rate in HK? I called up the Employee Retraining Board and was told it would cost me HKD$3500 a month for 15hrs work per week (ie 3hours 5 days). If this is the rate, isn;t it better to hire a Phillipino/Indonesian helper who charges the same for full-time work?
Gemini, can you tell me more about yourself and how much you charge?
