I am mid-30s with no children and wondered if anyone had any good tips on where/how to meet other like-minded ladies. I like a social drink (and sometimes more) but have left the days of drinking every weekend behind. Prefer to spend my time off doing something practical (hiking, gyming, sailing) Also, does anyone know of anywhere that does good evening classes for English speakers?

A good start would be our group dinners. We get a fairly mixed crowed with about 70% in the 30+ age group.

I know a group of 30 something women who met at one of the dinners went out on a girls night and were last seen attempting to do the Bhangra in a German bar in Lan Kwai Fong at 1AM.

One place you might try is 'Art Jam' - it takes place in a bar in Central.

You pay around 500 bucks and get free paint and canvas. I have some friends (30+ ladies who don't say no to a glass of wine) who go regularly. Paint, socialise and drink - sounds perfect for you. I'll try and get more details for you.
