Tai Hang

Can anyone recommend living in Tai Hang? It seems very convenient bus wise, but doesn't get much air time...

Can I recommend living in Tai Hang? Sure I can.

The question here should be (which I presume is what you wanted to ask) "Does anyone recommend living in Tai Hang?"....

well....any thoughts, fellow Geoexpatters?

Okay....

Well, I know a friend who used to live in Tai Hang, and the informed me that the area was a bit upmarket with relatively newer buildings (compared to most of the territory) and not very well connected to by the MTR or even by buses (not many routes that originate/end/pass-by there). This, I must stress, is a purely personal opinion and may not be what you're looking for. Your best bet would be to go to the area itself to observe its facilities for yourself to get an idea.

What I like about Tai Hang is the proximity to Causeway Bay and Victoria Park. It is relatively well served by buses, but not as well as Kennedy Town. You won't have any trouble getting cabs though. I'm out in Tai Hang three times a week. I actually lived there for a few years in the early '80's before moving to Braemar Hill.
