Hello,
Would it be easier to apply a working permit for someone who has already the HK ID (thanks to his parents) than for someone who doesn't have ?

what kind of HKID(visa) does he/she have?

is it dependent? when was it issued? they may or maynot be allowed to work...
if he has Permanent Residence and right of abode in HK, then he/she does NOT need a visa to work.

Generally speaking if someone is arranging change of status from a dependant visa to an employment visa it can help the process slightly compared to someone who comes to HK as a visitor and then applies for an employment visa.
