I really enjoy British comedies, but I dont know the names of the popular sitcoms. Can anyone name a few? Also provide locations where to purchase?

| | | The Office is pretty good. They made an American version recently, but the Brit is better. Oldies-- you can try Fawlty Towers, Are you being served. Some like Absolutely Fablous, but I don't get it. oh, you should totally check out Mr. Bean. he's cool! | |

There are loads of classic British comedies but not sure if you can get them all on DVD/Video. The most current one which is very popular is The Office. Available on DVD.
Other to watch out for:
-Last of the Summer Wine
-Some Mothers have them all
-Mr. Bean
-Blackadder (I have bought VCD's from HMV)
I suggest that if you have NOW TV you checkout the BBC Prime channel which shows quite a few of the classic comedies.
I am sure others here will add a few more...all depends on how far back you want to go. | |
