Any difference? Can a permanent residence lose his/her staus in HK. I know the right to abode you can downgrade to RTL the right to land. Any difference between the right to abode and a PR?

Don't think there is a technical status called "PR". Most people use PR as a term to describe RoA.

PR= permanent resident

All PRs in HK have the ROA in HK. ROA is the right of residence and abode that PRs enjoy in HK.
