Has anyone had any experience using Landscope real estate agency to find an apartment or serviced flat? (http://www.hongkonghomes.com/) I am thinking of using them since they seem to have quite a large number of serviced flats. Thanks!

My employer uses them for expat housing. My experience with them has been very good both times I used them to rent apts (not serviced ones though). Much better than V***rs who we had earlier.

I am using them now to find our first apartment in HK. They are quite helpful but always rushing / busy (maybe that is just HK!?). They seem to have the most listings at present though. On past visits when 'scoping out' possibilites (pre relocation), Helena Wong at Sallmans has been fantastically helpful & also found a serviced apartment for our arrival. But not many listings in our budget/ location preference right now. I would suggest approaching a couple of agents for a start. Refer to the geo expat classifieds on this site too. Good luck!

Centaline and Century 21 have the largest listings. Hong Kong homes and the rest are still pretty much boutique agencies.

I am currently using them as well and agree VegemiteKids comments, they are helpful but rushed. One thing I did like was their service of arranging all your utilities connections once you find a place, for no additional charge. I don't know if other local agents do this, but having only arrived two weeks ago, it's great having one less thing to sort out.
