In HK most banks act as distributors for UT/MF and you will need to have a bank account to start investing. For example, if you open an investment account with HSBC, you will have access to funds distributed by HSBC and similarly for other banks. If you check www.hsbc.com.hk and go to investments you will see a list of mutual funds distributred by HSBC ...

Thats a good start ... you can then do the same thing with other bank websites

to pogo44: thanks for the link. i've already come across that website. and yes, it lists all SFC-authorized unit trusts/mutual funds but what i really need is the complete list of all Hong Kong-domiciled unit trusts/mutual funds. there is a wide array of funds offered in the HK financial market but most of these are established and registered under the laws of Cayman Islands. what i'm looking for are those established in Hong Kong. thanks
