For pure performance, I will take the 6800 ultra for the Dell, but as I am not a power gamer but prefer having a decent mobility portable, I prefer the x700. If performance is what you aim for, go for the geforce.

This thread reminds me of an excellent question. By my terming the question "excellent," it therefore merits considerable consideration and therefore an accurate reply. Does customs allow bringing a desktop PC into HK? I've heard it isn't allowed because of some silly red tape of some kind or another. Please tell me this is not the case and I can bring my computer with me. I'd rather not send compenents piece by piece through the mail. Who knows what x-rays and the like would do to my lovely innards.

There is no difference between bringing a new pc into HK and your own used pc into HK.
