| Octopus types Any particular reason I should pay $70 for a "bought" octopus rather than $50 for an "on loan" one? Can't help feeling I'm missing something. Doug. |

| They (the $70 ones) are more of a souvenir for tourists, with the pretty pictures on them. If you live here don't waste your money (that extra $20 will buy a couple of beers for God's sake!) |

| The standard Octopus cards are $50 and include $35 stored value (ie a $15 deposit). The souvenir ones are $70 and include zero stored value (ie a $70 rip-off). |
