A few of us are predominantly in Lan Kwai Fong and SOHO for our happy hours.

LKF & SOHO I guess.. are my hang out places on the W.E!!
I rarely catch the happy hours and usually start out around 8ish with friends! (The construction in LKF these days is a a big pain though)

Occasionaly we do like to wander down to Wanchai as well...a few nice bars there!

Man, I must be going to all the wrong places

Either that or I'm too lazy & hungry and just prefer all the restaurants/cafes in Causeway Bay.

Plus I have a feeling most other expats are twice my age, so I haven't really hung out with them... just one good friend who's partner is an old expat, who I saw a lot of for the first couple of weeks when I got here. I have a girlfriend though, so haven't really got the opportunity to go skirt hunting [ :-( ]

If I don't get a job in the near future though, my plan may change to getting drunk with old expat businessmen in Lan Kwai Fong... miniskirt optional :-D

Oh dear...

Hang out? Who has time?! 10 months on the ground and find that between work and the logistics of living in a non-expat area, I keep pretty busy. Being beyond the bar/cruise stage at 49 (tues!), I tend to like coffee, dinner, wine and conversation, or heading out to hike/walk around Chueng Chau or Big Wave... Find it challenging to connect with people in Hong Kong where so much is shaped by work...but so far those I have connected with have been great, very welcoming.

First post, looking forward to checking out the forums now and then.
