Hi,

when looking for stuff in Hong Kong on ebay, I usually start from ebay.com, then do an advanced search, and just chose items located in hong kong as the only search criteria, then I end up browsing the ebay items in HK, can add keywords, categories etc.
There's not much to buy though, no english books, a bunch of Hello Kitty collector stuff and electronics which end up being more expensive than in the stores because overbid from overseas.

When you say most of it is in Chinese I think that is to be expected considering this is HK. Red Dots is a good site. Their customer service is very bad at replying to you but they do ban time wasters if you point them in the right direction. You can always use Alta Vistas Babel Fish to translate the Chinese.
There was another seemingly English-only auction site which looked promising but it lasted a couple of months.
