meeting time and place Hey guys, Good to hear that we have a bit of a crew together. Does anyone object to meeting on Sunday at 3pm at the Peak cafe bar at midlevels (the one next to the escalators). We can have some quiet sunday afternoon beers and plan a surfing or wakeboarding trip!

Hey all, I've been trying to get a surf in since I've arrived in December, I would love to meet up with you guys if possible, can't this sunday but if you have any future gatherings please let me know! I need to get in the water soon. I've heard you can rent a junk for the day and they will take you out to a beach with actual waves. Need to get more info on that though.

Hey guys, Didn't see any replies before the proposed meeting so just presumed that no one was able to make it and didn't go myself. Maybe if we organise a meeting time earlier this week we can all sort out whether we can make it or not. How about we meet same time and place this weekend (Sunday 3pm, Peak cafe bar, midlevels). Please reply if you can make it or want to change the meeting time or place. Also I had a mate who went out to Tai Long Wan on Saturday. He said you can either hike or catch a boat from Sai Kung. The waves were tiny but he said the beach was beautiful and the water was super clean. The forecast predicted small waves as well so hopefully its accurate predicting a decent swell.

I'm not gonna be in town this weekend, but I shall be free the one after. let me know how it goes if you guys do meet up. Big Wave Bay AKA Tai Long Wan sounds great, haven't been there myself, maybe we should do a bit of hiking one day before it gets too hot... or we can hire a junk boat and check out the island nr Sai Kung.

Anyone know where I can get a decent thruster second hand? something 6'6" and a little wide in the hips for mushy days. An al merrick flyer would be great, but I hear they're ridiculously overpriced in HK. muchas gracias Luek

Typhoon surfing I'm a cold water washington surfer who spends a couple weeks a year in China for business. I've been researching spots around HK with the hope to make it out on one of my trips! Is there a good way to meet up with HK surfers so I could join a group who's heading out? Is this Typhoon creating some epic swell?
