| | | How to use my TV from US here? Hello everyone!
I just joined this forum and felt relieved to see that there are others who have questions about living in Hong Kong.
I brought my 61 inch Sony TV from US to Hong Kong. Used a regular adapter (that changes a two pin to three pin) in a hurry and think blew it. Can it be fixed now? Where should go or whom can I contact this kind of job?
Please help guys!!

| | | Did you even stop and think that the voltage might be different?
Hopefully you've just blown the power supply...
Call the local Sony service center .. ( 1081 for telephone number enquiries)

| | | Maybe Hi,
you know actually maybe only the fuse in the adapter 2 pins to 3 pins blew, happened to me with some stuff.
Just check it you never know, this thing is supposed to blow first to protect your appliances.

| | | Thanks for replying guys!
I don't think either that US plugs have fuses. I will have to double check though.
I will call the number you gave Knowitall. I hope something works out! | | Tools | Search | | | | | Rate This Thread | | | All times are GMT +8. The time now is 11:24 PM.
