Processing for getting you a DH visa. well for my experienced(Used to work with Employment Agency) if he's going to sign your contract (Direct Hire) it takes 6 to 8 weeks (maximun 10 weeks)

They have bad impression with filipina here.a lot of "pok-pok"here (i mean prosti)
I am married to a british guy and sometimes if we go out for a drinks somewhere in wanchai i feel like people are looking at me like a "prosti" because i am a filipina, i feel bad, but i can't blame them, i am blaming those my co-filipina that giving us bad rep.

I feel bad that these sort of things happen to you, but that's life all we can do is prove them wrong. Also can't blame filipina here trying to make a living doing stuff like that, survival is the key, I fell sorry for them as well, but that's all I do for them, I can't even help them, but I've come to the point where i don't look down at them but instead looking up to them for all the sacrifices they are doing to keep themselves and their loved ones surviving. this does not only apply to filipinas here, but to everyone doing this job.

Well, it's just like that. There's always something bad about people, of every nation or race. As for the case, Filipinos share its part. =)

What we can just do is to don't stereotype.

Hi guys,

I'm Filipina brought up in Hong Kong since 1975. I do not have much Filipino friends 'cos it seems my mentality with native filipinos just does not click.

Problem is, with too many Filipinos giving us bad rep, I don't get to make lots of Chinese friends either.

Most of my friends from school has left HK but I can say I've got some reliable friends left behind.

There are lots of things to do in Hong Kong. I know some people beg to differ. Especially now that Disney is opening up soon (if you're into those stuff).
