Sorry to butt in here folks, but if any of you fancy yourself as a singer and want to win a recording contract with Viva records (plus loads of other prizes on the way) then listen in to Vinny on the PTS tonight (Friday 21st) at around 9:30pm and he'll be announcing a big competition (a sort of "Hong Kong - Pinoy Idol")...

Oops - last minute change of plan - looks like it will be launched on next week's TPS (28th). Such is the concept of "Philippines Time"!

yeah, that lunch was really a very nice event and we should definetely meet up again! i liked the food and can already feel that i become more filipino - "you are what you eat", right?

honey, if you teach dona majong, then maybe dicesix and me will join. you'll need 4 people for playing that anyway

Do you and dicesix play? the best and only way to learn majong is by watching. So there should be 2-3 players first and you can learn from them.

As we've mentioned, we have a majong room in our bldg for $20/hour. I can only teach you for the next two months if you want, after that, i'll be busy ;-) It's easy to learn, as long as you know the chinese numbers from 1-9, you'll learn it in one seating.

I'm up for mahjong!!! But I only know how to play the Filipino-Chinese way! Willing to learn the HK way though
